Test Manager

On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance we are looking for an experienced Test Manager. For this contract position based in Zurich Switzerland our client is looking for a German and English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Role:

  • Test Manager (Portfolio Advisory - and Monitoring Tool, with Reporting and Simulation Tool)
  • Manage test engineers to creates and execution of test cases for new functionalities and regression test
  • Coordinate and manage the manual and automated testing, defect tracking, reporting.
  • Collaborate with Release Management, Config Management for Version and Environment Management
  • Collaborate with the scrum teams to align ongoing sprint cycles and it's test and reporting execution
  • Manage the close collaboration between Test Engineers and Requirement Engineering (Backlog/User stories and it's coverage with test cases)
  • Report regularly progress status and issues to Project/Program lead and Line Management

The skills and experience needed for this position are

  • Proven record as Test Manager (minimum 5 Years)
  • Test Management experience in large and complex projects on multiple platforms (Unix, Web Applications, Mainframe)
  • Experience on Agile methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
  • Banking or Financial Industry experience
  • Analytical skills
  • Fluent English
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task in an agile environment
  • Strong Communication and presentation skills
  • Strong command of Quality Center (Test Coverage and Progress Report)
  • SAQ Certified Software Test Manager advanced level

Desirable/Advantageous skills and experience:

  • Banking/financial services background
  • German language skills
  • Portfolio Management Systems/Client Reporting
  • Technical knowledge (Mainframe, Database, Oracle, Unix Server, Programming)
