Job Description:
The application performance monitoring is a system that helps the firm's business critical application to meet their performance SLAs. This role is accountable for providing subject matter expertise in Precise i3, integration engineering of Precise i3 components into the company's standard Linux and Windows platforms.
What we need:
We need someone to collaborate with the engineering, Precise i3 platform and third level support team:
- Troubleshooting and administration of Precise i3 solutions on Solaris, Linux and Windows
- Design and implementation of monitoring solutions based on Precise i3
- Installation and configuration of Precise i3 agents and infrastructure components
- Life cycle management for all Precise i3 solutions
- Acceptance tests and hand over to operations and other support teams
- Support applications with custom monitoring configuration consultation
Experience Required:
Development and/or support skills:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with engineering of Precise i3 product
- Certification or expertise on Solaris, Linux and Windows
- Certification or expertise in Oracle DBMS, SQL Server and/or Sybase
- Software engineering in Java/JEE or Microsoft .NET is a plus
- Software packaging knowledge for Linux (RPM) and Windows (MSI) is a plus
- Excellent analytical troubleshooting skills and ability to own problems through to resolution.
