Database Administrator - Linux, Teradata
Our client, a market leader in their field are looking for a database administrator to perform the following tasks:
Main tasks:
- Technical expert for large Teradata systems, which ensures a smooth and efficient operation together with the BI service owner in consultation with developers and end users
- Installation, Adminstration and optimization of Teradata databases according to the needs of BI and BI Delivery service areas .
- Advice/tuning of complex database queries from developers and end users
- Incidents Occurring along with the service owner, the SW manufacturers, IT providers and users resolve quickly and efficiently
- Propose, evaluate and implement to ensure the overall performance/efficiency of database systems sustainable life cycle measures
German language skills are preferred but not essential.
The successful candidates must be available for a immediate start.
