Workday HRIS Business Analyst

My client are looking for a Workday HRIS Business Analyst with experience in Compensation and Benefits modules for a fixed-term contract, starting ASAP and running to the end of September 2016.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Be part of a global HRIS implementation within the solution team to drive HR business process standardization, HRIS system design and testing
  • Facilitate information gathering, structured documentation and presentation of findings related to HRIS system and business processes within the program team, HR business groups
  • Undertake a thorough review of AS IS HR business processes across all regions and develop TO BE processes in accordance to the new HR model
  • Act as single point of contact within the project team for all matters related to solution design and business process for the dedicated modules
  • Create business process documentation (Business Process Documentation, Operating Manuals) per Global HRIS project methodology
  • Create testing scenarios and test scripts for dedicated modules and drive execution of Integration testing cycle, User Acceptance test cycle
  • Act as a functional and system expert during the testing cycles to support the testers
  • Perform retesting of all defects and ensure execution of all test scripts within timelines
  • Keeps all relevant stakeholders informed at all times of potential obstacles and project activities progress
  • Work closely with Change and Training team to impart system and process knowledge to aid the development of training materials
  • Work closely with Data migration team to resolve functional issues pertaining to data
  • Work closely with Cutover and Integration streams to address functional topics and tasks
  • Maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with process owners, functional and technical team members, and users.
  • Lead training of the new HRIS solution within the support team and the end users

Candidate requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration or related field, or equivalent experience required
  • A minimum of 5+ year's experience in global HRIS project end to end implementation involving any one bold and at least one other of the modules within: Personnel Administration, Organisational Management, Compensation covering Salary review & Bonus, Benefits, Absence management as an HRIS business analyst or Functional consultant is a must
  • Experience with HRIS implementation in Workday is a must
  • Proven experience in business process analysis, eliciting and elaborating business requirements, and drafting system design specifications, business process mapping, ability to drive to closure and resolution of complex system issues
  • Knowledge of Performance, Learning, Recruitment solutions is highly desirable
  • Experience working with global projects and teams
  • Demonstrated ability to absorb, analyse, and understand new information, technologies and practices quickly
  • Understanding of project management and software project life cycle
  • Proven ability to manage multiple activities of varying complexity while prioritizing and focusing on critical tasks and issues
