Senior Java Developer

A leading financial client in Geneva is in need of a Senior Java Developer to join their team. The role has opened due to an increase in project work load across multiple work streams within the technology team. The Java Developer will work on a mix of application development projects focusing on Front End and web technologies Such as Swing, Spring, SOAP and REST. The applications will be closely linked to relational database management systems (RDBMS) and so also requires the Java Developer to have good working knowledge/experience with Oracle.

Skills Needed for Senior Java Developer

• Strong Java Development background (particular focus on application development).
• Recognisable knowledge and experience with Swing, Spring, and EJB is essential.
• Must have a good understanding of Oracle.
• Ideally experience with web application Servers ie Tomcat or Jetty.
• MUST be fluent to a professional working capacity in French.
• Previous banking/financial experience is a huge bonus.
