For our client, one of the most instantly recognisable brands in the banking sector, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Business Analyst/Requirements Engineer with fluent English and German for a new 6 month contract in Bern with a strong potential for extension.
Senior Business Analyst/Requirements Engineer, Banking, English and German (Contract, Bern)
- Responsible for data collection, analysis, development and validation of business requirements for the project and the translation of this business requirements into standardized IT specifications
- Opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the goals and needs related to the business processes
- Responsible for the preparation of artefacts for the relevant phase of the Business Initiative (Business Requirements, Features List, Specifications and Requirements List)
- Working closely with the business, the IT application owner and the IT project
- Cooperation in a motivated and professional team
In order to be considered for this role you will bring the following skills/experience:
- Experienced business analyst in the banking sector (5+ years' experience)
- Strong skills in the analysis and specification of Business Rule-, Screen- and Interface Requirements
- Strong communication skills for peer- (Requirement Engineers, Solution Architect, Test Engineer) and Business communication (Business Application Owner, Business Analysts, Business User)
- Knowledge of JIRA, Polarion, Quality Center and Visio strongly encouraged
- Experience with Agile (SCRUM) nice to have
- Experience in application development projects following incremental and iterative approaches (RUP, Agile) advantageous
- Good ability to coordinate across teams
- Knowledge about workflow steered/supported processes desired
- Basic knowledge about the banking business
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
