For a four month project with continuation option at our banking client site in Zurich we are looking for an experienced
Authentication Engineer w/Apache and Shell Scripting (2535)
Our client is seeking a senior Authentication Engineer to support a high profile project that is building a global, unified and cutting-edge digital private banking experience.
This is an exciting, challenging and rewarding role for a dynamic senior engineer with a passion for delivering excellent products and services.
The core responsibility will be to:
- Define use cases, detailed technical specification and security baseline
- Evaluate, design and rate possible solutions and build a PoC
- Setup an build and packaging environment
- QA: define test plan and execute tests
- Write operational manual and train operation team
- Manage unknown software issues/defects
- Perform security vulnerability assessment and plan software maintenance activities
- Report status/issues and project progress proactive
- Provide 3rd level production support
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science
- Experience in Banking IT, Credit Suisse experience is a plus
- The following skills are mandatory:
- 3+ years' experience in building/configuring Apache httpd server 2.x/Apache modules (mod_proxy_wstunnel, mod_security) from source code.
- Strong UNIX (Solaris 10/RedHat 5/6) knowledge and Shell Scripting skills.
- Solid C and C build tools knowledge (gcc, configure, make)
- Web security/web application Firewall, intrusion detection system knowledge
- Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Technical background in TCP/IP and related protocols HTTP, HTTPS, Websocket, DNS, etc. Ability to perform network packet analysis.
- Mutual SSL/TLS and PKI knowledge
- CA Siteminder know how is a plus
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
- Good communication skills both in verbal and written manner
- Proactive and highly motivated team player
