JEE Engineer
For our banking client in Zürich we are looking for a skilled Engineer.
Role Summary:
As a JEE Senior Engineer you will be part of the Banks Engineering team. The team is responsible for components engineering that are part of the platform, as well as providing 3rd level support for those components. The team engineers the platform Tool Chain, as well as Java/JEE/Weblogic/core web components. All these products are used by a large number of mission critical and complex applications bank wide.
To ensure and maintain the high quality and stability of our components and increase the efficiency you will optimize and continuously improve our component delivery processes together with your team. You will also support applications using the components delivered by the team.
As a successful candidate for this role you will have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, fluency in JAVA coding and systems design, solid communication skills and a desire to tackle complex problems you find in large IT organizations.

The Role involves:
- Engineering the internal release of JDK, JRE, Weblogic and iPlanet
- Co-work in platform delivery projects
- 3rd level support for applications landing on the Java application platform
- Design, engineer and improve the component deliveries
- Analyze in depth and document complex technical issues
- Write internal how to's and documentations
Qualifications:
- Experience in IT Banking environment
- Good communication skills both in verbal and written manner
- Advanced German and English language skills are a must
- Proactive and highly motivated team player
- 5 years+ Java/JEE development experience
- JAVA certifications are a big advantage
- Oracle Weblogic Server & WLST experience is a must
- iPlanet/Apache httpd Web Server experience is a big plus
- Excellent Ant, maven & Eclipse IDE (must have), Subversion skills
- Proficient with Solaris/Linux & Windows
- Windows Scripting & Unix Shell Scripting skills are a plus
- HP QualityCenter, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint knowledge is a plus
