For our client in Zurich we are looking for a Financial Controller
Under direct guidance of and supporting the COO of Operations Change, in collaboration with central Operations COO, with Shared Services Operations Finance, with Operations Portfolio Management and with Operations IT COO/Portfolio Management execute various controlling functions for and across Operations Change
Your responsibilities:
Support all global finance responsibilities of the COO of Operations Change and the Head of Operations Change, ie for department of >300 staff with >50m CHF of direct cost and >200m CHF of IT spend incl. Cost management, incl. budget, approvals, forecasting, actuals, analyses, allocations, re-charges, transfers, etc. for all expenses, incl. occupancy, travel, training, recruiting, contingent staff, etc. Project costing, incl. cost rates, time reporting, monetizing reported time, capitalization of project efforts, analysis, reconciliation to cost accounting, by leveraging the project portfolio management system (Clarity) Financial benefits management for programs in the Operations Book of Work, ie set objectives, monitor, analyze and report progress Workforce/Centers of Excellence staff controlling Ensuring the right use of the applications in this domain, incl. Beeline, MyShop, iAnalyze
As the ideal candidate you have the following qualifications and experience: Relevant qualification for controlling, management accounting and cost accounting Able to communicate at executive level, in particular with written presentation and discussion materials Very good Excel and Powerpoint skills Very good English Good understanding of portfolio/program/project management, in particular for large-scale, transformational change initiatives Proactive, "can do" mentality Proven track record in global organization(s)
