For a project at our banking client site in Zurich we're looking for severalJunior & Senior Java JEE Developers w/ SQL and JPA (2516)
We are looking for Developers with any seniority. The project needs Junior- as well as Senior Java Developers.
As a (Senior) Software Engineer for this project you work in a large JavaEE environment.
Concerning the tasks you:
will provide high level expertise in developing complex software applications involving new technologies, methods, concepts, or approaches.
will consist of working together with a Development team, several Architects and implementing solutions for deploying application enhancements and features in a large Java EE environment.
will be responsible for developing, maintaining and fixing bugs in the application, as well as assisting Quality Assurance to maintain a high quality application.
Your qualifications:
Master/Bachelor in Information Technology or Engineering or similar is required.
Strong Java Programming Skills
Strong knowledge of SQL, JPA
Experience in Java programming. Experience in larger JavaEE-based projects.
Strong Knowledge of OOP, software design principles and design patterns
Strong Knowledge of best-practices in a Java development environment (test-driven development, continuous integration, source code control)
Enthusiastic, self-motivated
Good problem solving capability and communication skills
Ability to understand new technologies quickly
Team oriented, flexible, analytical, quality oriented, reliable and goal oriented.
Nice to have
Understanding of financial industry
Knowledge of Agile Development practices
Ability to take over multiple roles in the team when needed
German language skills
