For our customer in Zurich we are looking for a Junior Test Engineer

Scope of work:

  • The role of the Tester is to drive the application of quality assurance principles and techniques into the agile delivery teams, helping to ensure that features delivered meet acceptable quality standards
  • Collect test requirements, identify risks and determine testing scope
  • Execution of tests and management of testing defects to closure
  • Regular reporting of testing progress as required
  • Close interaction with the team business analysts to drive out testable requirements that can be delivered by the team
  • Interaction with central testing team
  • Development and maintenance of test strategies and supporting documentation ensuring all project technical requirements are suitably tested
  • Leverage and implement industry best practices and standards related to testing

    Skills:
  • Overall 3+ years of testing experience with Enterprise grade applications
  • Working experience in an agile environment/team
  • Experience with test and quality management tools (such as Quality Center)
  • Experience with client data systems highly desirable
  • MS Office skills, especially advanced Excel and Access knowledge
  • Experience in banking/financial industry would be an advantage
  • Fluent in English (German would be an advantage)
