Support lead is wanted by one of the largest banks in Switzerland. For this project, you will be positioned between the Provider and Consumer applications.

The team does two things:

  • Helps the Consumer community to create demand for the Provider community (a Consumer plans to migrate it's application means that the respective Provider Services must be ready one time)
  • Works with the offshore development team and the Provider community to deliver the Consumer demand
  • As a support lead, your responsibilities will be:

    Implementation

    • Act as a single point of contact to answer any questions by the Consumer Application (how is the migration tools are used for the migration)
    • Trigger the implementation review and sign off process with the Providers
    • Track the implementation review process (primarily code and unit test results review)

    Testing

    • Perform validation on the issues raised as defects and ensure that all key inputs are given for the support teams to trigger the Defect Analysis phase
    • Support in bringing transparency on the outstanding defects (initial analysis and dispatch of issue to the respective support teams)
    • Track the issues until closure (only if a project issues that we need to address)

    Warranty

    • Be the Single Point of contact to receive any Consumer incidents (initial analysis and dispatch of issue to the respective support teams)
    • Track incidents and report status

    Requirements:

    • Knowledge of the messaging domain and background in Web Services analysis, design and implementation
    • Intellectual capacity to describe problems at different levels, identifying alternative solutions, clearly articulating the pros/cons and making clear recommendations
    • Experience in web service migration projects would be an advantage
    • Competence in software development with common languages: Java (must)
    • Analytical troubleshooting skills and ability to own problems through to resolution.
    • Flexibility, team-player attitude. Good organization of work & attention to details
    • Ability to work and deliver with little guidance
    • Fluent in English, good command in German (Minimum B1)
