Java Integration/Developer
On behalf of our client, a well renowned Global IT Company, we are currently looking for a Java Integration/Developer for a contract role based in Zurich.
Start: ASAP/Duration: 6 month
Our client needs a person with a broad technical foundation and good analytical skills to support them in the role as an integrator in their development team in the IT Credit Risk WMRC area.
Our clients applications are used to support our business in deriving the right credit decisions and monitor the credit usage in day/to/day business.
Task and Responsibilities:
In the role as an integrator you will be responsible for the following tasks
- Manual Integration/installation of software in our development environments.
- Installation of software in test environments
- Daily loading of data in different environments and tracking and solving of problems
- Automating build and packaging tasks for our projects using Ant, Maven and Jenkins
- Software Component Manager for a number of applications in Credit Risk.
- Providing Third Level (technical) support for our applications in production.
Required Experience/Skills:
Broad knowhow in different areas such as:
- Profound knowledge of Java/JEE
- Profound knowhow of Ant, Maven and Jenkins
- Basic knowhow in the area of WebSphere Application Server
- Basic knowhow in the area of Unix/Solaris
- Basic Oracle knowhow, including SQL and basic PL/SQL
- Fluent in English is a must, German skills of advantage.
- High degree of autonomous working required and
- Good communication skills (and certain stubbornness chasing down responsible competence centers) are required, since there will be a lot of stakeholder management required for the tasks listed above.
