For our client - one of the major banks in Zurich we are searching for a Solution Engineer Triple Stores.
MAIN DUTIES
- Engineering, development, enhancements and maintenance of internal systems.
- Working with application owners and architects on requirements verification and integration testing.
- Creation and maintenance of development and test environments.
- Testing of developed solutions and documentation of test results.
- 2nd and 3rd level support.
- Applying best practices, including the review of data model design and data standards
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- Solid background in Object-Oriented design and analysis.
- Strong in design and architecture - requirement gathering, analysis.
- Excellent knowledge on .NET C# programming, WCF, WPF
- Strong experience with designing n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
- Strong knowledge in the areas of semantic web, Semantic Web Technologies (triple stores, RDF, SAPRQL)
- Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
- Familiarity with database programming. Knowledge of TSQL MS SQL Server.
- Knowhow and adapts to Agile methodology (eg SCRUM)
- Good communications skills English (German would be advantageous)
- Financial industry knowledge is a plus
