Our client, an international IT company, is currently looking for experienced Security Service Delivery Specialist for a contract role based in Zurich.
- Start date: immediately
- End: 6 month
Security Service Delivery is responsible for operational stability and availability of the Security Tools used by the Security Operation Center and other Stakeholders.
This role involves extensive co-ordination with various technical groups, such as Wintel, Unix, Network and other development groups.
This role is responsible for the operation and administration of applications in the following Security areas:
- Security Information and Event Monitoring
- Data Loss Prevention
- Intrusion Detection and Prevention
- Vulnerability and Compliance Management
This role is the connecting link between Engineering and first/second level support. Furthermore cooperation with the different vendors to solve problems is a task.
SOC SD is responsible to deploy new security software and solutions in production
Their primary requirements and responsibilities will be:
- Manage Antivirus Environment, Intrusion Detection and Vulnerability management tools
- Responsible for operation and support of the global Data Leakage Prevention Solution and ArcSight SIEM
- Operation of in house build web based solutions for Coverage reports
- Act as subject matter expert in the area of expertise and review requirements for the different solutions
- Support new requirements and projects within Security IT
- Health Monitoring, Administration and Support of the existing solutions
- Troubleshooting Security Application issues
- Provide Sign Off for proposed solutions to production environment.
- Define non-functional requirements for new solutions to improve daily operation
Required skills include the following:
- Very strong skills in the following operating system platforms: MS Windows and Linux
- At least 3 years of IT Security/Information Security experience
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in a financial environment in a similar position preferably
- Good knowledge of security tools Antivirus and Vulnerability Products.
- Knowledge of ArcSight SIEM and Data Leakage Prevention systems.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes incident, problem management and change requests.
- Able to combine understanding of business needs and IT security requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills
