Project Manager - Network, Architecture, WAN, LAN, PRINCE 2, IP - Required for 50% Engagement
Responsible for handling the technical aspects of a Network Separation Project that is being done for a highly regarded pharmaceutical firm in the Basel area. You are responsible for the separation of the communications networks, security infrastructure and partner connectivity infrastructures.
Your primary responsibilities are the separation strategy, coordination with different global Services Centers, providing guidance and instructions to the regional and local IT teams, whilst ensuring connectivity and functionality during the transition.
Desired Skills and Experience
The client are looking for someone with the following basic qualifications:
* Higher IT Degree, Project Management Certification a plus
* Experienced in managing the technical aspects of WAN architecture and design (including IP telephony, remote access, Firewalls and Internet access)
* Strong knowledge with LAN technologies (IP Addressing, DHCP, DNS, Cisco WiFi Routers)
* Experience dealing with global telecoms providers (ie BT Global Services)
* 5+ years project management experience, preferably with PRINCE 2
* Strong communications and people skills
* Willing and able to lead a team of technical experts and proactively communicate with various stakeholders
* Independent, self-reliant, very well structured and organized
* Willing and able to take a leadership role
* English fluency, German nice-to-have
