Solution Engineer

For our banking client we are currently looking for a Solution Engineer:

START: ASAP

DURATION: 6 months

LOCATION: Zürich

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

• Engineering, development, enhancements and maintenance of the current systems.
• Works with application owners and architects on requirements verification and integration testing.
• Creation and maintenance of development and test environments. Testing of developed solutions and documentation of test results.
• 2nd and 3rd level support including active engagement in problem resolution.
• Ensure high quality software and process documentation.
• Best practice oversight, including the review of data model design, data standards and enforcing delivery of recommended changes

TECHNICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Solid background in Object-Oriented design and analysis.
• Strong in design and architecture - requirement gathering, analysis, high level and low level design, architecture.
• Excellent working knowledge on .Net C# programming, WCF, WPF, Silverlight, XAML Browser Applications
• Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
• Strong Database programming TSQL MS SQL Server.
• Strong in providing precise estimation of tasks.
• The role will require the development of a good knowledge of how the systems works
