System Engineer - Microsoft, Linux
Our customer, a market leader in their industry requires an experienced Microsoft System Engineer to perform the following tasks:
Primary Tasks and responsibilities:
. 3rd Line support (troubleshooting, incident management, debugging)
. Server monitoring, administration and operation, mainly Exchange and MS SQL Server
. Design & deploy solutions
. Project related site deployment and integration
. Integrate solutions together with other application teams
. Executing planned maintenance (security patching, operating system and tooling upgrades, )
. Performance monitoring & tuning
. Improvement and extension of operational stability
. Creation and improvements of operational guidelines, implementation guidelines and QA documentation
. Disaster recovery design & support activities
The successful candidate must be available for an immediate start and ideally be fluent German and English speakers.
