Senior IT Business Analyst
Tasks & Responsabilities:
. The role of the business analyst is to perform business analysis tasks using techniques that enable a highly iterative delivery approach of continuous requirements identification and just-in-time definition of requirements.
. Additional critical skills required are the ability to manage acceptance and evaluation criteria definitions,
. This position will require an advanced level of flexibility and adaptability in the processes and techniques used to complete work.
. In addition, the successful candidate must have the ability to apply flexibility in his or her leadership style, facilitation skills, and management of expectations with teammates and stakeholders.
. Able to build and manage stakeholder (internal and external) relationships which may include: business partners, users, vendors, customers, project team members and management leaders.
. Ensures appropriate stakeholders are involved in elicitation activities and understand the value and purpose of components of user stories, use cases, prototypes, models and test acceptance criteria.
. Ensures stakeholder review, understand, prioritize and approve user stories and/or use cases.
. Understands overall business structure, strategy and impact on work efforts.
. Understands business architecture and can assess capability gaps and can identify and propose possible solution approach.
. Establishes bi-directional traceability for requirements from business case to implemented solution.
Qualifications:
. BS in Computer Science or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of Business Analyst experience with 2-4 years of experience in Dev Ops, Agile and Lean methodologies.
. An excellent working knowledge of systems architecture, testing and release management.
. Experience in a large global organization is required, preferably in healthcare, life sciences or pharmaceuticals.
. Experience decomposing, refining, and documenting requirements using a variety of graphical and textual techniques, including user stories, prototyping, Use Case scenarios and business process diagrams, functional requirements specifications, activity and process diagrams is required. SAP knowledge considered helpful.
. A track record of delivering high quality systems and products is required.
. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and management skills working in a matrixed organization are required.
. A minimum of 3 years of experience with Agile software development methods
