VAS Engineer with Back Office support background required in Switzerland.
My client a market leading telecoms operator is looking to recruit a VAS Engineer with Back Office support background for a long term assignment based in Zurich, Switzerland.
You will perform second line support with necessary expertise to solve issues escalated from first line diagnostics across the Core network.
Provide guidance and implementation for software delivery and upgrades
Provide technical reports to identify cause of problems, and give preventive guidance to avoid same problem happen again
Escalate the trouble ticket to Third Line when they cannot solve it, and monitor it until solved
Fulfill the Service configuration and activation according to plan for Service Provisioning
Periodically evaluate the service growth based on subscriber usage and assess these trends
System configuration - prepare implementation, rollback plan, call a review meeting and execute configuration requests
Traffic monitoring on each VAS NE
Recommendation of the capacity/SW/HW expansion
Routine inspection, preventive maintenance
Responsible of the KPI and SLA of VAS systems
Emergency handling
My client are willing to consider candidates with CORE/VAS experience on Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei or Alcatel Lucent or ZTE equipment
