For our client in Zurich we are looking for a MSSQL DBA

Your responsibilities:

Professional DBA of Microsoft SQL Server

work experience in MS SQL ideally within the financial sector

Good knowledge of Windows operating system and SQL Server Clustering based on Windows Server with of VERITAS clustering and volume manager

knowledge of installing and configuring SQL Server- Reporting Services, Integrations Services, Analysis Services.

Good SQL and basic Scripting language knowledge

English skills

Good communication skills

OnCall readiness

knowledge of Sybase RDBMS/Sybase IQ

Experience with Oracle RDBMS

skills and experience in DB Tuning/Optimization

SAN/NAS Storage

Virtualization Skills (VM-Ware)

ability to build and maintain customer relationship

experience in writing documentation

ITIL

German skills
