Our client is a major international organisation with its headquarters near Lausanne, Switzerland. As part of a new eContent Syndication project, they are seeking a Solution Architect to lead the technical aspects of the Syndication platform from RFP to architecture delivery. This will ultimately collect and aggregate product, label and digital data to distribute to eCommerce customers through a SAAS solution.
You will be responsible for:
The technical needs assessment based on business requirements;
Refining the RFP questionnaire to new scope and deadlines;
Reviewing the list of providers;
Evaluating RFI and RFP from vendors from a technical perspective;
Organising Q&A with vendors;
Ensuring the conceptual integrity, performance, security, scalability, sustainability and reliability of the proposals.
You will have a background in Application Architecture with large international projects under your belt.
You will have proven experience in SAAS (Software as a Service) integration and architecture.
You will have functional and technical design skills within, ideally, Digital Syndication, Product Information Management or Digital Asset Management.
You will have experience of conducting architecture reviews, evaluating RFP/RFI/RFQ and external vendors.
Strong documentation experience is essential, as is the ability to work closely with specialist technical architects across a number of different technology spheres.
Strong English language skills are essential.
