For a project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for severalSenior .NET Developers (2397)
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Engineering, development, enhancements and maintenance of the Product-Buffet systems.
Works with application owners and architects on requirements verification and integration testing.
Creation and maintenance of development and test environments. Testing of developed solutions and documentation of test results.
2nd and 3rd level support including active engagement in problem resolution.
Ensure high quality software and process documentation.
Best practice oversight, including the review of data model design, data standards and enforcing delivery of recommended changes
Your qualifications:
Solid background in Object-Oriented design and analysis.
Strong in design and architecture – requirement gathering, analysis, high level and low level design, architecture.
Excellent working knowledge on.Net C# programming, WCF,WPF,Silverlight, XAML Browser Applications
Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
Strong Database programming TSQL MS SQL Server.
Analytical troubleshooting skills and ability to own problems through to resolution.
Ability to plan and manage own work without supervision.
Adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment, willing to learn new concepts and software
Good communications skills English (German would be advantageous)
Financial services industry knowledge would be advantageous
