Project Lead AVP
Our client's current legal entity model is a reflection of historical acquisitions, and tax/capital/legal optimizations. The Global Legal Entity Program (LEP) is a response to client's key regulators who continue to amend and update their requirements in order to improve stability and resolvability of the banking sector.
Role Description
- Project manage sub-streams
- Drive deliverables of the sub-stream
- Facilitate between the different divisions involved, eg Treasury, Accounting, Tax, Legal, New Business
- Maintain appropriate program governance
Required Skill set
- University degree (or equivalent)
- Proven project management and coordination experience, at least 3 years
- Good understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management from a support perspective
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver tangible, high-quality, project delivery results within tight deadlines and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness
- Structured and disciplined; control mindset; and provides the relevant level of transparency
- Very good oral and written communication skills and presentation skills with ability to formulate and conduct presentations comfortably to large groups and senior management
- Strong interpersonal skills that enable building effective working relationships and partnership across different divisions, functions levels and cultures
- Good understanding of the financial sector in general and treasury and finance in particular
- Experienced user of MS Project and MS Office toolset (Word, Excel and PowerPoint); relevant qualification preferred
- Project management certification eg PMP, CAPM, PRINCE 2 is a plus
- Excellent English written and verbal communication; German is a distinct advantage
