For our client, a leading financial company with headquarters in Zurich, Swisslinx are urgently searching for a highly motivated and competent
Web Service Migration Engineer (Contract, Zurich)
In this challenging contract, you have a technical lead role in a large migration programme with very high visibility. Additionally, you will be working closely with developers, testers and application managers throughout the whole software development life cycle to make sure that requirements are interpreted and validated correctly. You will be a Subject Matter Expert on migration tools and processes and you will aim at improving migration processes, by liaising with onsite and offshore development resources.
This is a contract position in Zurich.
The start date is ASAP.
The contract language is English. German is a plus.
The contract duration is 6 months, with very likely extension.
For this challenging position, we are searching for a candidate with broad messaging domain, paradigms and background, as well as solid Web Services knowledge. You are capable of describing problems, identifying alternative solutions and providing clear recommendations. You have experience with large infrastructure migration projects (Web Service Migration) and competence in software development (C++/Java/C#). IBM Certified Application developer - Enterprise PL71 would be an advantage.
