Harvey Nash is looking for a Statistician for a 12 month project in Switzerland.
Assure the appropriate use of statistical methodology in drug discovery through consulting, training and education, and appropriate software; this includes statistical design and analysis of experiments, planning and optimal use of animal studies to provide high quality information for compound decisions and the use of visualization and data mining techniques >b
You are responsible for
Ensure proper use of statistical methods through consulting and expert advise, training and education; drive the use of innovative statistical methodologies within NIBR Brings statistical expertise and input for the design and analysis of studies, experiments, bioassays in all research areas in particular for the biomedical, pharmacological and animal experiments Adherence to Novartis standards and Health Authority requirements, regulatory guidelines, registration and submission projects, approval of study protocols Perform statistical analysis with the aid of suitable statistical software Provide users with statistical standard software to analyze experimental data, prepare, hold and organize training for statistics tools Prepare, give and organize training and education for statistical methodology and new state of the art statistical methods and procedures Weekly progress, status and next steps reporting to the project manager. Requirements
MSc/PhD in Statistics or Mathematics English, German At least 5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Industry, deep knowledge of drug discovery process in a research environment Internal and external scientific network Are you available immediately, have experience working within a Life Science company?
