For a project at our banking client in Lausanne, the french speaking part of Switzerland, we are looking for several experienced

Software Engineers Regulatory Reporting w/ AXIOM (2316)

who are interested to join the Financial Reporting IT team for the area of AXIOM regulary reporting.

Your accountabilities include:

Analysis, design, development, validation and deployment of enhancements and BAU projects in AXIOM v7 for regulatory reports
Perform detailed technical analysis on requested changes, provide advice on feasibility, effort estimates and alternative options
Manage job schedule changes and setup new jobs dependency in Control-M scheduler
Interacting with business users, external parties, regulatory interfaces and infrastructure
Play a key role in AXIOM development to provide support across a number of regions (US, EMEA as well as Switzerland)
To fulfil these tasks you meet the following requirements:

University degree in technology
Basic knowledge of accounting concepts (preferred)
4-7 years of experience in general
2+ years of financial industry/banking experience
1+ years AXIOM v7 controller view (v9 is a plus)
4+ years in UNIX scripts
4+ years in DB
3+ years in reporting tools
Be able to understand and extend/enhance code written by other developers
Solid understanding of AXIOM regulatory reports and good experience in data source, data model, portfolio, aggregation, reports and workflows, projects and branch concepts
Have very good knowledge of scripts and manipulate feed files with UNIX scripts
Good understanding and experience in Oracle SQL and PL-SQL queries with performance tuning in Oracle
Have good knowledge on Crystal Report Business Object, Crystal Report Enterprise Server and Cognos Report
Ability to conceptualise and deliver solutions for requirements
Good analytical/problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to work independently as well as team oriented
Ability to communicate with junior team members with an aim to developing their skills and abilities
Ready to adopt new technologies and reporting tools like AXIOM
Excellent oral and written communication in English
