For a 6 month project with our client in Lausanne, we are looking ASAP for a Senior C++ Developer

Tasks:

  • Develop computational pipelines in a distributed linux environment (HT Condor)
  • Parallel computing (computing cluster, high throughput computing)
  • Convert working prototypes of pipelines developed by scientists to robust, parallel versions
  • Software development (Python, C++)

    Requirements:

  • Familiarity with data brokers
  • Distributed computing environment
  • Excellent software development skills in Python or C++
  • Experience with job schedulers (experience with HT Condor would be an advantage)
  • Experience with other programming languages like Java, Javascript is an advantage
  • Cluster computing (parallel processing)
  • High throughput computing
  • Familiarity with large volumes of data
  • Background in Life Sciences industry
  • Familiarity with agile methodology
