Junior Java Developer
On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a Junior Java Developer. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Handling development responsibilities including testing and deployment
- Translate business requirements into technical design and code
- Ability to take over multiple roles in the team when needed
- Strong commitment to Agile Manifesto and team "Definition of Done" while delivering solutions
- On time delivery with appropriate unit tests coverage and successful execution
The skills and experience needed for this position are:
- University degree or equivalent education in IT
- First professional working experience
- Strong understanding on:
- Java/JE22
- Java design and coding principles
- Web Services
- JPA, SQL
- Agile Development
- German skills are nice to have
