Job Description
- Provide 1st Level technical support; answering support queries via phone, email and call tracking system.
- Provide 2nd line technical support, diagnosing problems when required, and solving them, visiting users at their desk if required.
- Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles (ITIL).
- Take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues.
- Take and promote a client oriented attitude, being a team player
- Manage tickets in the tracking system.
- Respond to enquiries from clients and help resolve any hardware or software problems.
- Maintain a log of any software or hardware problems detected.
- Support users in the use of Computer equipment by providing necessary training.
- Escalate more complex calls to the relevant 3rd level teams
- To update/create knowledge databases with new processes
Requirements
- Working experience as a IT Support Engineer
- Excellent Trouble-shooter experience
- Very good Windows XP/7, Outlook 2007 and MS Office skills
- Good network knowledge: TCP/IP, Active Directory, DNS or DHCP
- Excellent IT hardware set-up and configuration experience
- Experience with RIM Blackberry
- Fluent English/Very good German or French skills (MUST)
Contract Details
- Start: ASAP
- Contract length until 31.12.2014 (extension possible)
- Daily rate: 570 CHF (all inclusive)
- Location: Zurich
