Our client, a key player in the Insurance industry require very experienced CONTRACT Insurance Program Management Professionals. These are full time positions based on site in Zurich, Switzerland.
These requirements have been signed off and our client is ready to conduct interviews with the right candidates.

You will be required to lead programs in the Group Operations & Technology area. You will be expected to perform against demanding program/project objectives based on a sound track record in program management (gained within IT/technical/process consulting roles) combined with a hands-on experience in application of advanced technologies in the insurance industry.

So we are looking for profiles of a Managing Consultant but more demanding on every dimension. There will be some responsibility as a line manager.

Key tasks/responsibilities
- Manages/leads a (sub) project (program)
- Builds strong working relationship with client managers
- Provides coaching to younger colleagues
- Becomes strongly skilled in respective fields of industry/functions

Relationships:

In the course of your involvement you will have a number of relationships to manage:
- Relationships with our internal clients, teaming up with internal client team members on analysis, moderating workshops, interviewing/working with key executives and presenting recommendations

Qualificatinos/Experience:
Degree in Engineering/IT. Master's degree required in Europe. Consulting/Insurance/industry experience in operations/IT/production preferable.
Strong project management and problem solving experience gained in consulting is a must.
4-8 years of relevant professional experience
Balanced profile with strong ability to abstract/problem-solve and analytical skills

Knowledge required:
- Insurance industry and processes knowledge
- Experience in applying advance/disruptive technologies/methodologies to the insurance industry strongly preferred
- Good knowledge of one or more functions a plus (claims, UW, Sales & Distribution)
- Financial knowledge (eg ability to build business cases, understand financial reports)

Technical skills required:
Powerpoint and Excel knowledge is a must
Fluency in English (working language) is a must, one or 2 other languages a plus
Strong analytics, quantitative skills, leadership abilities and the ability to abstract.
