For our banking client in Zürich we are currently looking for a Junior Java Developer:
Start: ASAP
Duration 6 months
Location: Zürich
Knowledge Requirements Good knowledge in JavaEE, Web Service, EJB3, JPA2, JMS, UML with experience on building web services, SQL, Oracle DB, WebLogic, MQ Series, HTML5, Eclipse, IntelliJ, JIRA
Must Have Skills & Experience
Experienced working on Java/J2EE.
Solid understanding of Java design and coding principles
Sound knowledge of Web services(Rest, SOAP) & Ejb3
Good knowledge of JPA, Sql
Knowledge of Agile Development practices
Good communication skills in English is a must. German is a plus
Nice to Have
1-2 years of minimum professional experience
Basic understanding of financial industry
Experience with Spring, MQ Series, Google Guice
Knowledge and experience in HTML5
Responsibilities
Handling development responsibilities including testing and deployment.
Translate business requirements into technical design and code
Ability to take over multiple roles in the team when needed
Strong commitment to Agile Manifesto and team "Definition of Done" while delivering solutions
On time delivery with appropriate unit tests coverage and successful execution.
