Our client is a major international organisation based in Lausanne with interests in the Life Sciences. as part of a team of data experts, you will be be responsible for developing scientific data processing infrastructure.
You will have a strong software development in C++ or Python and have experience of job schedulers such as HT Condor.
You will be required to develop computational pipelines in a distributed Linux environment converting working prototypes of pipelines into robust parallel version. As such experience of parallel computing (computing cluster and high throughput computing) is essential.
Previous contracts working with large volumes of data will be necessary within a cluster computing environment.
Knowledge of other programming languages such as Java and JavaScript would be a strong advantage.
The working language for this position will be English.
