For a six month project which is likely to be extended at our banking client in Zurich we are looking for an experienced
Java Developer J2EE (2318)
who is interested to join the Off Exchange Funds IT departement to build out an execution platform. In this position you work as part of an agile (SCRUM) development team to deliver street side execution capabilities.
Your accountabilities include:
- Work as part of a delivery focused agile development team
- Grooming and estimating user stories
- Developing solutions to user stories
- Building automated tests for solutions
- Participate and drive architecture discussions and designs
- Participate and drive procedural change through continuous improvement and retrospectives
To fulfil these tasks you meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required
- Strong knowledge of Java and J2EE development
- 5-7 years experience
- Experience working in an agile environment would be beneficial
- Experience developing C# user interfaces would be beneficial
- Experience working in the financial industry would be beneficial
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
