My client in Switzerland who are going through the largest life-science project in the world are looking for a number of IT Support/Analyst professionals on a freelance basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a stunning area of Switzerland for a world renowned company.
I require fluent ENGLISH/GERMAN for this role and a valid EU passport holder.
Job description:
Primary Tasks and responsibilities
*Server, Printer & Data Center monitoring, administration and operation
*2nd & 3rd Line support (troubleshooting, incident management, debugging)
*Design & deploy solutions
*Project related site deployment and integration
*Integrate and support solutions together with other application teams
*Executing planned maintenance (security patching, operating system and tooling upgrades, )
*Performance monitoring & tuning
*Improvement and extension of operational stability
*Creation and improvements of operational guidelines, implementation guidelines and QA documentation
*Disaster recovery design & support activities
In addition, Server monitoring, administration and operation, mainly Exchange and MS SQL Server.
On-call permanency is possible
Your profile should include:
*Methodology/Certification requirements
*Strong knowledge Microsoft Server technologies and Vmware
*Microsoft MCSE, MCITP or MCSA on Windows Server technologies
*Experience with Linux is a plus
*Bachelor Degree in Computer Science OR OR Federal Diploma in Information Technology. Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
