For a three month project with continuation option at our banking client in Zurich we are looking for immediate support in the form of aGerman speaking Business Analyst Asset Management (2229)
Our client is constantly assessing the need for and feasibility of changes to its legal structure in light of regulatory trends and requirements. He actively support global measures aimed at increasing the stability of the financial system and resolving the TBTF agenda in several countries. This resulted for example in our clients’ intention to establish a new subsidiary for our Retail & Corporate and WM business booked in Switzerland.
Within Group Operations, Global Legal Structure Implementation (GLSI) has been created as a center of expertise to coordinate and implement the required legal structure changes across the various regions. GLSI is working in close collaboration with other Group Operations. The program consists of three main pillars: the implementation of a new subsidiary of our clients corporation in Switzerland, the creation of an Intermediate Holding Company (IHC) in the U.S. and adjustments to the clients’ subsidiary in the UK.
The Job:
You are taking over an important Business Analyst/Project management role within the project stream "Investment Administration (IAD)" as part of the overall Global Operations Program implementation. The “Investment Administration (IAD)” function within Global Operations does service the business division Global Asset Management. You will be working in a small and flexible team (dedicated project manager, business analysts and subject matter experts). The project is key in regard to enable successful implementation of the Global Asset Management specific requirements for the new legal entity structure from an operations' perspective. It is key that you are able to act and manage in a global and demanding environment. The role demands skills and abilities to understand and strive business operating models, processes, technology infrastructure as well as regulatory frameworks. It covers the full project lifecycle from concept, business requirement phase to testing, migration and implementation.
Main Activities:
Act as senior business analyst for the Investment Administration stream within Group Operations. Take active ownership in working on required changes identified, from concept to solution implementation across Global Asset Management, IT, Group Operations and other areas affected within the bank.
Prepare high quality presentations on documentation of business requirements and as basis for decision making for senior management and stakeholder as well
Plan, prepare and execute testing and implementation activities
Managing migration related conceptual and preparation tasks as well as execution
Elaborate and ensure execution of proper business readiness activities including (but not limited to) implementation of service level agreements, standard operating procedures and end-user training.
Project management related tasks (planning, coordination, prioritization, stakeholder management and documentation) to support delivery in time
To fulfil this role successfully you meet the following requirements:
- Several years of business analysis and project management experience in a banking/IT environment, preferably in the securities settlement and/or client onboarding area
- Asset Management know-how preferred
- Ability to lead, mobilize and guide multiple stakeholders through all aspects of project life cycle

- Excellent communication skills including oral and written German & English
