Our client in Zurich seeks a Senior Systems Engineer with excellent understanding of Windows Servers and VMware.
As an experienced System Engineer you will have the following skills:
- Current Windows server technology, Microsoft clustering, server deployment, IIS, TCP/IP, Active Directory.
- VMWare datacentre infrastructure.
- Netapp storage appliances.
- Scripting languages: PowerShell, Windows Scripting Host.
- Understanding of networking technologies and associated infrastructure.
- System design, performance benchmarking, implementation.
- Knowledge of anti-virus technologies, system monitoring, Exchange Server, Citrix, DNS, SCOM, SharePoint technologies and file system security (NTFS)
- Degree in computer science (or equivalent work experience).
- Microsoft certification in Windows server an advantage.
- VMware certification.
