Our client is a major international organisation with a very large IT structure. They currently outsource a number of software development and deployment projects and as part of this initiative, require a Technical Architect to manage the activities of their development providers.
The successful candidate will have a solid background in SAP architecture to include ABAP development and will be responsible for translating complex functional business requirements into workable solutions.
You will provide tactical governance of the suppliers and development support to in-house teams.
You will be responsible for the technical architecture in collaboration with external suppliers and be part of the code review process to ensure new releases are in line with expected deliverables.
You will manage KPIs and initiate improvement programmes when required.
You will be the subject matter expert for these development programmes.
Strong SAP and ABAP architecture experience is essential, coupled with strong project management, supplier management and stakeholder management experience.
Previous contracts working in large, multi-stream development and international organisations is expected and essential.
