For our banking client based in Zürich we are urgently searching for a Senior PMO

Start: 01.09.14

End: 31.12.14

Location: Zürich

Language: English is required, German a big +

In the HR Process and System Transformation Program (HRPST) with an anticipated program budget of up to CHF 50m and extending through mid-2017 we need a Head PMO on level senior VP. The primary responsibilities of the Program Office Lead are to plan, coordinate and steer the project within the guidelines of the formulated project plan and approved budget, to track the execution of the program and to ensure timely delivery, as well as ensure proactive communication to stakeholders

Scope:

The primary responsibilities of the Program Management Office Lead are to plan, coordinate and steer the project within the guidelines of the formulated project plan and approved budget, to track the execution of the program and to ensure timely delivery, as well as to ensure proactive communication to stakeholders.

Requirements:

- Proven program/project management and coordinator experience

- Ability to work under pressure and deliver tangible, high-quality, project delivery results within tight deadlines and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness

- Structured and disciplined; control mindset; and provides the relevant level of transparency

- Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills with ability to formulate and conduct presentations comfortably to large groups and senior/executive management

- Strong interpersonal skills that enable building effective working relationships and partnership across different divisions, functions levels and cultures

- Experienced user of MS Project and MS Office toolset (Word, Excel and PowerPoint); relevant qualification preferred.

- Project management certification eg PMP, CAPM, PRINCE 2 is a plus

- Language skills: Excellent English and German is a distinct advantage
