Senior C#.NET Silverlight/WPF Developer
Edelway SA is a Swiss IT Services Company. Our global Banking client based in Zürich, Switzerland, is currently looking for an English speaking Senior C#.NET Developer with strong knowledge of Silverlight or WPF to join them on a long term basis.
THE ROLE
*Enrich Cross Asset Portal (Silverlight) to integrate FX Derivatives Pricing Engine, features and products
*Block Trades for FINER APAC
*Limit Order for Double Currency Deposit products
*Deal Capture for Corporates products (DCD)
*Strip Pricer of Pricing Engine integration
*Support of 3rd generation option types
*Integrate EQ Funds features and products into Cross Asset Portal (Silverlight)
*Pre-Deal verification for Funds/EQ
*Integrate Execution platform for Funds/EQ
*Post-Deal verification for Funds/EQ
*Connect to the Deal Blotter
YOUR PROFILE
*In depth understanding of OO principles.
*Expert in C# and Silverlight or WPF.
*Demonstrates experience of using Design Patterns (advantages and drawbacks).
*Experience of using 3rd party frameworks/components (eg Telerik) and can decide when it is appropriate to use these.
*Experience on applications with complex scalability and performance challenges.
*Experience of the full project life cycle.
*Experience of Agile practices and processes (eg SCRUM).
*Knowledge of a language other than .NET eg Java or Scripting language.
*Excellent written and spoken English.
Nice to have:
*Experience of developing software for a large Enterprise, including n-tier development.
*RDBMS experience (eg SQL Server/Oracle) helpful
*Understanding and exposure to Test Driven Development.
*Knowledge of Real Time trading platforms or other critical transaction based solutions.
*Hands-on knowledge of FX or similarly complex investment banking products would be ideal
