For our banking client in Zürich we are currently looking for a Java Developer with experience trading environment:
Start: ASAP
End: 28th Feb 2015
Location Zürich
Knowledge
Good knowledge of the Java framework, I/O, Multithreading, persistence frameworks (Hibernate, JAXB, etc.)
Good design of SQL queries and ability to investigate performance issues
Knowledge of build tools and IDEs and knowledge of control versioning systems
Good understanding of the IT domain overall, with special attention for networks and distributed applications
Experience
Degree or higher education in Information Technology and/or Business/Economics or equivalent
Good knowledge of OTC Products and general Business know-how and some years of practical experience
Knowledge of trading and Back Office systems in international banking environment
Familiar with iterative development styles and fast turnaround in a tight team
Strong communication skills and good language skills in English and German
Drive for high quality and working with other internationally oriented organizational units to achieve common goal
Notes
This project is a Regulatory Clearing Project and is due to be delivered at the end of 2015. We ideally are looking for applicants with knowledge of JAP (Credit Suisse's Java Application Platform) J2EE and core Java. Experience in Equities, Fixed Income or other OTC products would be advantageous, in addition to any experience of interfacing with Murex, but this is not essential. Candidates should however, have an outstanding knowledge of Front to Back Office.
