For our client, a globally active Swiss firm headquartered in Zurich, we are looking to staff a Senior Project Leader / Manager
Job Description:
• Experience with implementation of Regulatory Reports for the Swiss Authorities (SNB reporting)
• Experience with Integration between Core Banking Systems and 3rd Party Solutions for Regulatory Reporting (e.g. FIRE, AxiomSL)
• Capability to strictly follow Project Methodology (defining & agreeing with Business on deliverables, milestones; following rigid scope control & issue management processes)
• Working with the Solution Architect and Domain Responsible to define non-functional requirements
• Capability to set-up a proper framework for estimating the project design / implementation phase based on measurable deliverables
• Setting-up the sourcing approach for the design / implementation phase
• With the support of the Solution Architect – elaborate solution, which reduces as much as possible sunk costs caused by replacement of the core banking system in a later stage (after introduction of the new reg. reporting solution)
• Team up with other projects in order to identify potential solution synergies, dependencies and sharing of project costs
• Work in close collaboration with teams in Singapore.
Must Haves:
• Bachelor/Polytechnic/University or professional experience in the specific environment
• Advanced professional training and development
• 15 years of relevant work experience
• Business trends recognition and analysis of their impact
• Experience in leading large and international projects as well as project teams (of min. 4 consultants)
• Analysis of risks and patterns of behavior in order to rectify major problems early stage
• IT Security, Database Management, Middleware, Communication Technology, Tax
Branch Experience:

Start Date: 01.09.2014 or by agreement
Duration: 12 months with extension
