Junior DB Batch Developer

For our banking client based in Zurich we are currently looking for a Junior DB Batch Developer

This is a "grow your own" role and as such suited to a candidate with a good degree and ideally some work experience with some of the relevant skills below. As such this should be a contract that will be extended and with the potential for the contractor to be internalised provided they progress within the scope of the position.

Scope of Work:

We are looking for an experienced application developer with good communication and organizational skills. You define and implement requirements for exchanging data between applications in close collaboration with stakeholders of different projects. You are the direct contact for the IT/PL and you are responsible for the complete batch development process; analysis of requirements, design, implementation, test and deployment including planning. You will also provide 3rd level support for the related applications.

Job profile

Practical knowledge in Java, Unix and SQL

Practical knowledge in asynchronous data exchange, preferably Control-M

Familiar with JAP Framework used by Credit Suisse

Preferably you have knowledge about the Java Springbatch frame work

Practical knowledge about all phases of a development process

Good communication and organizing skills

Willingness to challenge and to seek for creative solution

Fluent communication and written skills in English and German (is a plus)

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or similar

Any other relevant degree or certification are also welcome
