For a long-term project at our banking client in Zurich we are looking for support in the form of aJunior DB Batch developer (2222)
This is a “grow your own” role and as such suited to a candidate with a good degree and ideally some work experience with some of the relevant skills below.
We are looking for an experienced application developer with good communication and organizational skills. In this role, you define and implement requirements for exchanging data between applications in close collaboration with stakeholders of different projects. You will also provide 3rd level support for the related applications.
Relevant skills for this job:
• Practical knowledge in Java, Unix (beneficial) and SQL
• Practical knowledge in asynchronous data exchange, preferably Control-M
• Preferably you have knowledge about the Java Springbatch frame work
• Practical knowledge about all phases of a development process
• Good communication and organizing skills
• Some small project skills
• Preferably brings knowledge about different notations like UML and applied tools e.g Visio and Enterprise Architect
• Fluent communication and written skills in German and English
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or similar - Any other relevant degree or certification are also welcome

Our customer highly considers junior applicants with few or no previous work experience, but who are motivated and keen for an interesting challenge in a banking environment. If you have Credit Suisse experience it’s an advantage, but not necessary.
