For one of our clients we are looking for a Senior Project Manager
General Skills:
- min. 15 years experience as Project Manager
- general IT Skills (It Security, Database, Mgmt, Middleware, Communication)
- very good German skills
- good English skills
Special Skills:
- Experience with implementation of Regulatory Reports for the Swiss Authorities (SNB reporting)
- Experience with Integration between Core Banking Systems and 3rd Party Solutions for Regulatory Reporting (eg FIRE, AxiomSL)
- Capability to strictly follow Project Methodology (defining & agreeing with Business on deliverables, milestones; following rigid scope control & issue management processes)
- Working with the Solution Architect and Domain Responsible to define non-functional requirements
- Capability to set-up a proper framework for estimating the project design/implementation phase based on measurable deliverables
- Setting-up the sourcing approach for the design/implementation phase (roles & responsibilities of the consultancy branch of the vendor during design/implementation vs. roles & responsibilities of internal ams)
- With the support of the Solution Architect - elaborate solution, which reduces as much as possible, sunk costs caused by replacement of the internal core banking system in a later stage (after introduction of the new reg. reporting solution)
- Team up with other internal projects FATCA, EMIR in order to identify potential solution synergies, dependencies and sharing of project costs (these projects are also looking for a reporting solution and the vendor we are looking at is offering such modules)
- Work in close collaboration with the team in Singapore, which is currently implementing a local regulatory reporting solution based on the same product. Identify synergies (eg sharing designs, implementation experience, resources). The current internal system is run and maintained outside of IT
Project Start: ASAP, 60% work load till end of November 2014, afterwards 100% till Q3/15
