For a long term project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are immediately looking for anApplication Supporter for 3rd party applications (SQL Server) (2197)
We are looking for Technical inhouse lead for a 3rd party application.
The candidate is responsible to integrate the changed/new functionality of the application to the clients environment.
Role overview
Production support
Supervision of production support processes
Responsible for the incident-, change-, release-, and problem management processes
Analyze defect in integration of packages, control processes aroung the applications (see which packages have been declined, talk to vendor (in German))
Write IT specifications and requirements for 3rd party software vendor
GAP specification within existing documents
End user- and second level support
Engineering and implementation
Member of implementation projects
Track 3rd party vendor on deliverables
Analyze and specify customer business requirements
Analyze and specify technical requirements
Parameterization and customization of the application OBS
Contribute to change- and release management processes
System test and roll out of new functionality
Your qualifications:
University degree or similar education preferably in information technology or information management
Experience with banking applications (min 5 y)
Sound software development background
Coding experience in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL and/or MS-SQL Server T-SQL
Experience in leading small or medium sized IT-teams
Good knowledge of financial instruments (Bonds, Funds, FX, TOFF,..)
Knowledge of banking industry
Sound know how in transaction banking processes
Knowledge about withholding taxing processes
Technical knowledge about Unix, Windows and Linux
Experience as IT specialist in the financial industry for at least 6 years
Fluency in English and German is mandatory for this role.
