Job: Solution Designer - German Speaking
Location: Zurich, Switzerland
Contract: 12 Months - £500
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Understanding and assessing business requirements via interactions with business analysts and business stakeholders.
- Conducting workshops with relevant stakeholders - business, design, UI, support teams
- Deriving a solution to be implemented across multiple systems to satisfy business needs
- Documenting and enhancing data models
- Conducting walkthroughs of designs to component, BA, Customer and testing teams
- Review and validate E2E test cases
- Supporting Testing teams while they are testing the solution delivered
Technical Skills
- 10 years' experience in the Wireless/Wireline Telecommunications networks focused on the OSS subsystem in the Telecom industry using COTS
- Should be able to conceive and describe the static and the dynamic designs in UML
- Good understanding of key telecom E-commerce processes
- Familiarity with telecom BSS components including CRM, Billing, Online, etc.
- Good understanding and appreciation for customer enterprise architecture, roadmap and data models
- Experience of e2e designing and component designing in system estates
- Familiarity with Wireless/Wireline Telecom NMS/EMS, BSS/OSS architecture, network operations, (monitoring, reporting, performance management, capacity planning, scalability) and service billing and provisioning
- Familiarity with telecom domains - Fulfillment (L2C)/T2R Knowledge of Industry Standard architecture framework like TOGAF, eTOM, SID, TAM and ITIL. UML Knowledge (Borland, ARIS, IBM RSA and Visio)

- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external associates
- Ability to collaborate with a team of professional experts in their field of accountability
- Ability to successfully work within a multi-vendor environment
