For one of our clients, a worldwide renowned investment bank based in Zürich, Swisslinx is currently seeking a Java Developer.
You will be responsible for the maintenance and support of Swiss Compliance systems and local Compliance clients.
Principal Responsibilities:
Maintenance and support activities of existing Compliance applications
Prepare and execute new system or enhancements rollouts and the post roll-out support as necessary
Detailed Query Data Reporting when required by Swiss Compliance clients
Required Technical Skills:
2-5 years of development experience with at least 1 year of experience in Java
Strong experience in maintenance and support of complex large applications
Strong Database and SQL experience
Strong Analytical skills
Knowledge of open Source frameworks/products: Apache/Tomcat, Hibernate
O/S: Linux and UNIX
Database: UDB/Sybase
Desirable Skills:
Experience in the financial industry
Experience in Autosys or other batch oriented support
This is a 12 months contract to start ASAP with a workload of approx. 20 hours per week.
