For our banking client in Zürich we are currently looking for an APPLICATION DEVELOPER (Trading Environment):

Start date: 04.08.2014

End Date: 31.01.2015

Location: Zürich

Language: English (German nice to have)

Scope of Work:

Design and write complex technical solutions to enhance current Murex Middle-Back Office environment in the area of IRD's and/PM derivatives using SQL and PL/SQL focussing on:

- Accounting balances calculation procedures

- Data mart reporting extractions

- Different accounting interfaces

- Configuring Murex to MQ queues in Murex and also for the Java interface.

- Liaison to Murex vendor. Describe in detail, liaise, and implement bug fixes and/or enhancements provided by the vendor.

- Performing software configuration management with responsibility for the build/release procedure using Perl; Strong knowledge in SVN

- Provide 3rd level support for the existing production environment, support team and Back Office users.

- Administer various test environments using UNIX and Shell Scripts.

- Work with DBA's to administer archiving and data objects control.

- Owner and administrator of source code.

- Be able to write functional solutions needed to resolve easy to medium business issues in the area of OTC derivatives.

- Provide technical support to functional team members.

- Have a good knowledge of the business and be able to suggest improvements to the existing business environment.
