On behalf of our client, a renowned bank in Zurich, Swisslinx are looking for a Release Manager/Test Manager with Oracle and Informatica experience for a contract role in an international environment.
You would be the Release Manager/Test Manager for the team building a DWH in a dynamic banking environment. Your role would be to coordinate the 4 - 6 agile development teams and to make sure what they are building fits together. Your responsibilities would include the coordination of end-to-end testing and release management as well as improving the current deployment frameworks.
In order to be considered for this challenging role you are required to have:
- Experience as a Release Manager/Test Manager
- Strong Oracle Development experience (including queries, partitioning, PL/SQL)
- Must have Informatica PowerCenter experience
- Experience with Unit and Regression testing frameworks
- Good knowledge of Version Control Systems (ideally CVS and SVN)
- Unix and Shell Scripting skills
- Banking experience a plus
- Fluent English, German would be a bonus
As well as the technical skills it is very important you have good people skills as you would be spending time with each of teams guiding them in creating test cases as well as having to present changes in front of groups of up to 40 people.
This is a contract position starting as soon as possible. The project is planned for 2 years so after the initial 6 months there is the possibility of extensions.
